ONGC Q3 Results: Net profit increases 596.7% YoY

State-owned Oil and Natural Gas Corporation (ONGC) on Saturday reported nearly seven-fold jump in third quarter net profit after higher oil and gas prices offset a drop in production.

Net profit of Rs 8,764 crore in October-December 2021 rose 596.7 per cent over Rs 1,258 crore net profit in the same period a year back, the company said in a statement.

The nation’s top oil and gas producer got USD 75.73 for every barrel of crude oil it produced and sold in the third quarter of the current fiscal year as compared to USD 43.20 a barrel realisation in the same period of 2020–21.

Ashok Leyland Q3 Results: Profit after tax at Rs 6 cr

Hinduja Group flagship Ashok Leyland on Friday reported a profit after tax for the quarter ending December 31, 2021 at Rs six crore, the company said.

The city-based medium and heavy commercial vehicle maker had reported a net loss at Rs 19 crore during corresponding quarter previous year. Revenues for the quarter under review stood at Rs 5,535 crore as against Rs 4,814 crore registered during corresponding period of last fiscal.

The domestic medium and heavy commercial vehicle volume during the period grew by 15 per cent to 16,667 units as compared to 14,468 units, a company statement said.

Page Industries Q3 Results: Net profit up 13.6%, Revenue up 28.3%

Apparel manufacturer Page Industries Ltd on Thursday reported a 13.58 per cent increase in its net profit to Rs 174.57 crore for the third quarter ended in December 2021.

The company had posted a net profit of Rs 153.70 crore during the October-December period a year ago, Page Industries Ltd (PIL) said in a BSE filing.

Revenue from operations was up 28.34 per cent to Rs 1,189.80 crore during the quarter under review as against Rs 927.06 crore in the corresponding period of the previous fiscal.

Hindalco Q3 Results: Profit After Tax jumps 95.7%

Hindalco Industries Ltd, Aditya Birla Group’s metals flagship, on Thursday reported a 95.7 per cent jump in consolidated profit after tax (PAT) to Rs 3,675 crore for the quarter ended December 31, 2021.

The results were driven by positive macros and focus on downstream value-added products along with better operating efficiencies.

The company had posted a consolidated PAT of Rs 1,877 crore in the year-ago quarter, Hindalco Industries said in a filing to the BSE.

Mahindra & Mahindra Q3 Results: Standalone PAT increases 154.8%

Homegrown auto major Mahindra & Mahindra (M&M) on Thursday reported over two-fold increase in its standalone profit after tax (PAT) at Rs 1,353 crore, for the quarter ended December 31, 2021.

The Mumbai-based company had posted a standalone PAT of Rs 531 crore in the October-December period of previous fiscal, hit by an impairment provision of Rs 1,210 crore for its bankrupt South Korean subsidiary Ssangyong Motor.

Revenue for the third quarter rose by 8 per cent to Rs 15,239 crore, as against Rs 14,057 crore in the year-ago period, M&M said in a regulatory filing.

Godrej Industries Q3 Results: Profit after tax at Rs 183 cr

Godrej Industries Ltd on Friday reported a profit after tax of Rs 182.78 crore for the third quarter ended December 2021 and announced investment of up to Rs 2,500 crore in two subsidiaries Godrej Properties and Godrej Agrovet Ltd.

The company had posted a net profit of Rs 170.66 crore in the October-December quarter a year ago, Godrej Industries Ltd (GIL) said in a BSE filing.

Its revenue from operations was at Rs 3,514.61 crore during the quarter. It stood at Rs 2,356.4 7 crore in the corresponding quarter last fiscal.

Total expenses were at Rs 3,510.03 crore.

OIL India Q3 Results: Net profit jumps 37%

State-owned Oil India Ltd on Friday reported 37 per cent jump in third quarter net profit as it benefitted from a rise in international oil prices.

Net profit of Rs 1,244.90 crore in October-December 2021 is compared with Rs 903.69 crore net profit a year back, the company said in a statement.

Total income jumped 88 per cent to Rs 4,705.20 crore in the three-month period ended December 31, 2021.

Voltas Q3 Results: Consolidated net profit down 25%

Voltas Ltd on Friday reported 24.93 per cent decline in consolidated net profit at Rs 96.56 crore for December quarter 2021–22 on account of muted demand and impact of the third wave of the pandemic on trade and consumer sentiments.

The Tata group firm had posted a consolidated net profit of Rs 128.64 crore for the year-ago period, Voltas said in a regulatory filing.

Revenue from operations was down at Rs 1,793.59 crore during the period under review as against Rs 1,994.64 crore.

Nykaa Q3 Results | Profit after tax dips 57%

FSN E-commerce Ventures, which operates under the Nykaa brand, reported about a 57 per cent decline in consolidated profit after tax (PAT) to Rs 29 crore in the third quarter ended December 31, 2021.

The company had registered a PAT of Rs 68.9 crore.

However, its consolidated revenue from operations during October-December 2021 increased about 36 per cent to Rs 1,098.36 crore, from Rs 807.96 crore in the year-ago period.

SAIL Q3 Results: Consolidated net profit rises 4%

Steel Authority of India Ltd (SAIL) on Wednesday reported a 4.1 per cent rise in consolidated net profit at Rs 1,528.54 crore for the October-December period of the ongoing fiscal, helped by higher income.

The company had posted a consolidated net profit of Rs 1,468.20 crore in the year-ago period, SAIL said in a filing to BSE.

Its consolidated income during the quarter increased to Rs 25,398.37 crore, from Rs 19,997.31 crore earlier.

ACC Q3 Results: Consolidated net profit declines 40.5%

Cement maker ACC Ltd on Wednesday reported a 40.55 per cent increase in its consolidated net profit to Rs 280.85 crore for the fourth quarter ended December 31, 2021, due to adverse input inflation.

The company, which follows the January-December financial year cycle, had posted a net profit of Rs 472.44 crore during the corresponding quarter last year, said ACC, a subsidiary of Swiss building material major Holcim group (earlier LafargeHolcim), in a BSE filing.

Its total revenue from operations in October-December 2021 stood at Rs 4,225.76 crore, a rise of 1.95 per cent as compared with Rs 4,144.72 crore in the year-ago period.

Motherson Sumi Q3 Results: Consolidated net profit dips 80%

Auto component major Motherson Sumi on Friday reported a 79.96 per cent drop in its consolidated net profit to Rs 225.95 crore for the third quarter ended December 31.

The company had posted a consolidated net profit of Rs 1,127.83 crore in the same period of the previous fiscal.

Total revenue from operations stood at Rs 16,117.51 crore in the quarter under review against Rs 17,092.44 crore in the year-ago period, Motherson Sumi Systems Ltd (MSSL) said in a statement.

Nazara Technologies Q3 Results: Profit after tax dips 17%

Digital gaming and sports platform Nazara Technologies on Friday posted about a 17 per cent decline in consolidated profit after tax to Rs 14.8 crore in the third quarter ended December 31, 2021.

The company had registered a PAT of Rs 17.9 crore in the corresponding quarter last fiscal.

Its consolidated revenue from operations during October-December 2021 grew 42.48 per cent to Rs 185.8 crore, compared with Rs 130.4 crore in the year-ago period.
