Chennai, Apr 26 (PTI): BNY Mellon, a global investment company on Tuesday inaugurated its new state-of-the-art office here that would accommodate different teams assisting the company’s global operations.
The facility, marks a historical milestone for BNY Mellon’s 20 year old operations and was the single largest facility for the company in India that can house more than 4,000 employees, a company statement said.
The new space measures over 7.60 lakh square foot spread across 10 floors. With the inauguration of new unit, BNY Mellon’s total footprint across India was currently more than 1.36 million square foot, reinforcing India’s importance on the company’s global operations.
The office has ergonomic furniture, height adjustable workstations for the benefit of the employees and also hosts the global art collection in India for the first time, giving a glimpse of the 230-year-old legacy of the company.
According to the company, India was currently home to BNY Mellon’s largest workforce outside of North America. PTI VIJ VIJ SS SS
