The Shares of Apollo Pipes Limited have delivered 12,120% in just ten years, as the share price has risen from Rs 4.4 in April 2013 to the current level of Rs 537 on the BSE.
Apollo Pipes is engaged in the manufacturing and trading of PVC Pipes and Fittings. It has a presence in every important sector of the country, such as Plumbing, Sanitation, Water Supply, Infrastructure, Agriculture Oil & Gas, and Construction.
If an investor would have invested Rs 1 lakh in the company in April 2013, the total value of their holdings would be Rs 1.22 Crores today.
The shares reached an all-time high of Rs 648 in October 2021. At that point, the total value of Rs 1 lakh would have been 1.47 Crore as the shares logged a return of 14,650%.
The Company has a diversified portfolio of over 1,500+ high-quality products including uPVC & CPVC Plumbing Systems, uPVC Pressure Pipes and Fittings, HDPE Pipes & Coils, HDPE Sprinkler Systems for agriculture, Underground Drainage & casing Pipes for sewerage, Water Tanks, Solvent Cement, Bath Fittings like showers, Faucets and Kitchen Sink.
In Q3FY23, the company reported a total revenue jumped 24 percent to Rs 236.68 crore from Rs 190.85 crore in the same period a year ago. In the previous quarter, their revenue stood at Rs 207 crore.
In the quarter under review, they reported a total net profit of Rs 4.86 Crore which declined by more than 57 percent from Rs 11.36 crore in Q3FY22. On a sequential basis, their earnings improved from losses of Rs 4.08 crore.
The company has a market capitalization of Rs 2,113 crores. The company’s promoters hold a 52.03 percent stake with zero shares
pledged. In addition to that, ace investor Mukul Mahavir Agrawal holds a 3.81 percent stake in the company as of the December quarter while the Foreign Institutional Investors (FIIs) hold a 2.38 percent stake.
