New Delhi, Dec 29 (PTI) Aluminium prices on Wednesday fell 0.53 per cent to Rs 226.05 per kg in the futures market as participants trimmed their positions on a subdued trend in spot market.
On the Multi Commodity Exchange, aluminum for delivery in December declined by Rs 1.20, or 0.53 per cent, to Rs 226.05 per kg in 2,527 lots.
Analysts said cutting down of positions by participants on easing demand from consuming industries in the physical market mainly kept aluminum prices lower here. PTI RUJ HRS hrs
