New Delhi, Dec 30 (PTI) Copper prices on Thursday fell 0.18 per cent to Rs 744.80 per kg in the futures trade, as participants trimmed their bets amid a weak trend in the domestic market.
On the Multi Commodity Exchange, copper for delivery in January was trading lower by Rs 1.35, or 0.18 per cent, at Rs 744.80 per kg with a business turnover of 3,941 lots.
Analysts said cutting down of bets by participants in line with a weak trend in the spot market mainly led to the fall in copper futures. PTI RUJ HRS hrs
