New Delhi, Jan 5 (PTI) Copper prices on Wednesday fell 0.49 per cent to Rs 747.50 per kg in the futures trade, as participants trimmed their bets amid a weak trend in the domestic market.
On the Multi Commodity Exchange, copper for delivery in January was trading lower by Rs 3.70, or 0.49 per cent, to Rs 747.50 per kg with a business turnover of 3,793 lots.
Analysts said cutting down of bets by participants in line with a weak trend in the spot market mainly led to the fall in copper futures. PTI RUJ HRS hrs
