New Delhi, Jan 10 (PTI) Copper prices on Monday fell 0.03 per cent to Rs 740.40 per kg in the futures trade, as participants trimmed their bets amid a weak trend in the domestic market.
On the Multi Commodity Exchange, copper for delivery in January was trading lower by 25 paise, or 0.03 per cent, to Rs 740.40 per kg with a business turnover of 4,030 lots.
Analysts said cutting down of bets by participants in line with a weak trend in the spot market mainly led to the fall in copper futures. PTI RUJ HRS hrs
