New Delhi, Dec 21 (PTI) Copper prices on Tuesday traded up by 0.51 per cent to Rs 742.10 per kg in futures market on the back of a pick-up in spot demand.
On the Multi Commodity Exchange, copper contracts for delivery in December traded higher by Rs 3.75, or 0.51 per cent, to Rs 742.10 per kg in a business turnover of 2,769 lots.
Analysts attributed the rise in copper prices to raising of bets by participants driven by a surge in spot demand. PTI SHW RUJ RUJ
