New Delhi, Dec 27 (PTI) Copper prices on Monday fell 0.72 per cent to Rs 742.55 per kg in futures trade as participants trimmed their bets amid a weak trend in domestic market.
On the Multi Commodity Exchange, copper for delivery in January was trading lower by Rs 5.40, or 0.72 per cent, at Rs 742.55 per kg with a business turnover of 3,726 lots.
Analysts said cutting down of bets by participants in line with a weak trend in spot market mainly led to the fall in copper futures. PTI RUJ ANU ANU
