New Delhi, Apr 13 (PTI) Crude oil prices on Wednesday rose by Rs 15 to Rs 7,659 per barrel as participants widened their positions on a firm spot demand.

On the Multi Commodity Exchange, crude oil for April delivery traded higher by Rs 15 or 0.2 per cent to Rs 7,659 per barrel in 3,963 lots.

Analysts said raising of bets by participants kept crude oil prices higher in futures trade.

Globally, West Texas Intermediate crude oil declined by 0.18 per cent to USD 100.42 per barrel, while Brent crude traded 0.14 per cent higher at USD 104.49 per barrel in New York. PTI SHW RUJ RUJ
