New Delhi, Apr 19 (PTI) Crude oil futures on Tuesday dropped by 1.7 per cent to Rs 8,175 per barrel as participants trimmed their positions on low demand.
On the Multi Commodity Exchange, crude oil for May delivery fell by Rs 141 or 1.7 per cent to Rs 8,175 per barrel with a business volume of 5,083 lots.
Globally, West Texas Intermediate crude oil was trading 0.56 per cent down at USD 107.60 per barrel and Brent crude was quoting 0.41 per cent lower at USD 112.70 per barrel in New York. PTI SHW RUJ RUJ
