New Delhi, Dec 2 (PTI) Crude oil prices on Thursday rose by Rs 7 to Rs 5,013 per barrel as participants widened their positions on a firm spot demand.
On the Multi Commodity Exchange, crude oil for December delivery traded higher by Rs 7, or 0.14 per cent, to Rs 5,013 per barrel in 6,947 lots.
Analysts said raising of bets by participants kept crude oil prices higher in futures trade.
Globally, West Texas Intermediate crude oil was trading up by 1.54 per cent at USD 66.58 per barrel, while Brent crude traded 1.67 per cent higher at USD 70.02 per barrel in New York. PTI SHW RUJ RUJ
