New Delhi, May 11 (PTI) Crude oil prices on Wednesday rose by Rs 113 to Rs 7,867 per barrel as participants widened positions on a firm spot demand.
On the Multi Commodity Exchange, crude oil for May delivery traded higher by Rs 113 or 1.46 per cent at Rs 7,867 per barrel in 4,022 lots.
Analysts said the raising of bets by participants kept crude oil prices higher in futures trade.
Globally, West Texas Intermediate crude oil was up by 1.92 per cent at USD 101.68 per barrel, and Brent crude traded 2 per cent higher at USD 104.51 per barrel in New York. PTI SHW AJ AJ
