New Delhi, Dec 7 (PTI) Crude oil prices on Tuesday rose by Rs 152 to Rs 5,351 per barrel as participants widened their positions on a firm spot demand.
On the Multi Commodity Exchange, crude oil for December delivery traded higher by Rs 152, or 2.92 per cent, to Rs 5,351 per barrel in 5,447 lots.
Analysts said raising of bets by participants kept crude oil prices higher in futures trade.
Globally, West Texas Intermediate crude oil was trading up by 1.87 per cent at USD 70.79 per barrel, while Brent crude traded 1.67 per cent higher at USD 74.30 per barrel in New York. PTI SHW RUJ RUJ
