New Delhi, Dec 13 (PTI) Crude oil prices on Monday rose by Rs 58 to Rs 5,466 per barrel as participants widened their positions on a firm spot demand.
On the Multi Commodity Exchange, crude oil for December delivery traded higher by Rs 58, or 1.07 per cent, to Rs 5,466 per barrel in 3,784 lots.
Analysts said raising of bets by participants kept crude oil prices higher in futures trade.
Globally, West Texas Intermediate crude oil was quoting higher by 0.64 per cent at USD 72.13 per barrel, while Brent crude gained 0.56 per cent to trade at USD 75.57 per barrel in New York. PTI SHW RUJ RUJ
