New Delhi, Jan 20 (PTI) Crude oil prices on Thursday fell Rs 41 to Rs 6,350 per barrel after participants cut their positions.

On the Multi Commodity Exchange, crude oil for the February delivery dropped by Rs 41, or 0.64 per cent, to Rs 6,350 per barrel with a business volume of 9,358 lots.

Analysts said the fall in crude oil futures was due to the trimming of positions by traders amid a weak spot demand.

Globally, West Texas Intermediate crude oil was trading 0.32 per cent lower at USD 86.68 per barrel.

Meanwhile, international benchmark Brent crude was quoting 0.66 per cent lower to trade at USD 87.86 per barrel in New York. PTI RUJ ANU ANU
