New Delhi, Nov 24 (PTI) Crude oil prices on Wednesday rose by Rs 6 to Rs 5,889 per barrel as participants widened their positions on a firm spot demand.
On the Multi Commodity Exchange, crude oil for December delivery traded higher by Rs 6, or 0.1 per cent, to Rs 5,889 per barrel in 4,261 lots.
Analysts said raising of bets by participants kept crude oil prices higher in futures trade.
However, globally, West Texas Intermediate crude oil was trading down by 0.36 per cent at USD 78.78 per barrel, while Brent crude traded 0.35 per cent higher at USD 82.60 per barrel in New York. PTI SHW RUJ RUJ
