New Delhi, Nov 29 (PTI) Crude oil prices on Monday rose by Rs 191 to Rs 5,377 per barrel as participants widened their positions on a firm spot demand.
On the Multi Commodity Exchange, crude oil for December delivery traded higher by Rs 191, or 3.68 per cent, to Rs 5,377 per barrel in 5,990 lots.
Analysts said raising of bets by participants kept crude oil prices higher in futures trade.
Globally, West Texas Intermediate crude oil was trading up by 5.02 per cent at USD 71.57 per barrel, while Brent crude traded 4.51 per cent higher at USD 76 per barrel in New York. PTI SHW RUJ RUJ
