New Delhi, Apr 12 (PTI) Crude oil prices on Tuesday rose by Rs 191 to Rs 7,367 per barrel as participants widened their positions on a firm spot demand.

On the Multi Commodity Exchange, crude oil for April delivery traded higher by Rs 191 or 2.66 per cent to Rs 7,367 per barrel in 3,609 lots.

Analysts said raising of bets by participants kept crude oil prices higher in futures trade.

Globally, West Texas Intermediate crude oil was up by 2.61 per cent to USD 96.75 per barrel, while Brent crude traded 2.47 per cent higher at USD 100.91 per barrel in New York. PTI SHW RUJ RUJ
