New Delhi, Apr 18 (PTI) Guar gum prices on Monday gained Rs 153 to Rs 12,767 per five quintals in the futures trade as speculators increased their holdings on spot demand.
On the National Commodity and Derivatives Exchange, guar gum contracts for May delivery traded higher by Rs 153 or 1.20 per cent at Rs 12,767 per five quintals with an open interest of 52,335 lots.
Analysts said after tracking firm trend at physical market, traders raised their bets which led to the rise in guar gum prices. PTI SHW AJ AJ
