New Delhi, Jan 27 (PTI) Guar gum prices on Thursday gained Rs 251 to Rs 12,121 per five quintals in the futures trade as speculators increased their holdings on spot demand.
On the National Commodity and Derivatives Exchange, guar gum contracts for the February delivery traded higher by 2.11 per cent, or Rs 251, to Rs 12,121 per five quintals with an open interest of 43,625 lots.
Analysts said that after tracking firm physical market trend, traders raised their bets that led to the rise in guar gum prices. PTI RUJ HRS hrs
