New Delhi, Jan 28 (PTI) Guar gum prices on Friday gained Rs 7 to Rs 12,105 per five quintals in the futures trade as speculators increased their holdings on spot demand.
On the National Commodity and Derivatives Exchange, guar gum contracts for the February delivery traded higher by 0.06 per cent, or Rs 7, to Rs 12,105 per five quintals with an open interest of 39,905 lots.
Analysts said that after tracking firm physical market trend, traders raised their bets that led to the rise in guar gum prices. PTI RUJ HRS hrs
