New Delhi, Feb 23 (PTI) Guar gum prices on Wednesday gained Rs 49 to Rs 11,633 per five quintals in the futures trade as speculators increased their holdings on spot demand.
On the National Commodity and Derivatives Exchange, guar gum contracts for March delivery traded higher 0.42 per cent, or Rs 49, to Rs 11,633 per five quintals with an open interest of 48,980 lots.
Analysts said that after tracking firm physical market trend, traders raised their bets, which led to the rise in guar gum prices. PTI SRS HRS hrs
