New Delhi, Feb 25 (PTI) Guar gum prices on Friday gained Rs 120 to Rs 10,700 per five quintals in the futures trade as speculators increased their holdings on spot demand.
On the National Commodity and Derivatives Exchange, guar gum contracts for the March delivery traded higher 1.13 per cent, or Rs 120, to Rs 10,700 per five quintals with an open interest of 39,590 lots.
Analysts said after tracking firm physical market trend, traders raised their bets which led to the rise in guar gum prices. PTI SRS HRS hrs
