New Delhi, Mar 2 (PTI) Guar gum prices on Wednesday rose by Rs 125 to Rs 10,863 per five quintal in futures trade as speculators increased their holdings on spot demand.

On the National Commodity and Derivatives Exchange, guar gum contracts for March delivery traded higher by Rs 125 or 1.16 per cent at Rs 10,863 per five quintal with an open interest of 26,690 lots.

Analysts said after tracking firm physical market trend, traders raised their bets which led to a rise in guar gum prices. PTI SRS AJ AJ
