New Delhi, Mar 28 (PTI) Guar gum prices on Monday gained Rs 225 to Rs 11,682 per five quintals in the futures trade as speculators increased their holdings on spot demand.
On the National Commodity and Derivatives Exchange, guar gum contracts for April delivery traded higher by 1.96 per cent or Rs 225 to Rs 11,682 per five quintals with an open interest of 38,890 lots.
Analysts said after tracking firm physical market trend, traders raised their bets which led to the rise in guar gum prices. PTI RUJ SHW SHW
