New Delhi, Mar 29 (PTI) Guar gum prices on Tuesday gained Rs 183 to Rs 12,050 per five quintals in the futures trade as speculators increased their holdings on spot demand.
On the National Commodity and Derivatives Exchange, guar gum contracts for April delivery traded higher by 1.54 per cent or Rs 183 to Rs 12,050 per five quintals with an open interest of 34,770 lots.
Analysts said after tracking firm physical market trend, traders raised their bets which led to the rise in guar gum prices. PTI RUJ SHW SHW
