New Delhi, Jan 11 (PTI) Nickel prices on Tuesday rose 1.48 per cent to Rs 1,588.60 per kg in the futures trade as speculators built up fresh positions amid rising demand from alloy makers.
On the Multi Commodity Exchange, nickel contracts for February delivery gained Rs 23.10, or 1.48 per cent, to Rs 1,588.60 per kg in a business turnover of 482 lots.
A rise in demand in the spot market from alloy makers supported the price in nickel futures, analysts said. PTI RUJ BAL BAL
