New Delhi, Dec 29 (PTI) Zinc prices on Wednesday fell 0.64 per cent to Rs 268.45 per kg in futures trade, as speculators reduced their exposure on negative cues from the spot market.
On the Multi Commodity Exchange, zinc contracts for January delivery traded lower by Rs 1.85, or 0.64 per cent, to Rs 286.45 per kg in 1,929 lots.
Analysts said offloading of positions by participants, owing to slackened demand from consuming industries in the physical market, mainly weighed on zinc prices here. PTI RUJ BAL BAL
