New Delhi, Jan 3 (PTI) Zinc prices on Monday rose 60 paise to Rs 288.55 per kg in the futures trade, tracking a firm trend in physical markets.
On the Multi Commodity Exchange, zinc contracts for January traded higher by 60 paise, or 0.21 per cent, to Rs 288.55 per kg with a business turnover of 1,992 lots.
Marketmen said widening of positions by participants following a pick-up in demand from consuming industries supported zinc futures prices. PTI RUJ HRS hrs
