New Delhi, Jan 4 (PTI) Zinc prices on Tuesday rose Rs 2.30 to Rs 288.75 per kg in the futures trade, tracking a firm trend in physical markets.
On the Multi Commodity Exchange, zinc contracts for January traded higher by Rs 2.30, or 0.8 per cent, to Rs 288.75 per kg with a business turnover of 1,996 lots.
Marketmen said widening of positions by participants following a pick-up in demand from consuming industries supported zinc futures prices. PTI RUJ HRS hrs
