New Delhi, Jan 5 (PTI) Zinc prices on Wednesday rose 65 paise to Rs 292.35 per kg in the futures trade, tracking a firm trend in physical markets.
On the Multi Commodity Exchange, zinc contracts for January traded higher by 65 paise, or 0.22 per cent, to Rs 292.35 per kg with a business turnover of 2,476 lots.
Marketmen said widening of positions by participants following a pick-up in demand from consuming industries supported zinc futures prices. PTI RUJ HRS hrs
