New Delhi, Jan 6 (PTI) Zinc prices on Thursday fell 0.57 per cent to Rs 288.20 per kg in the futures trade, as speculators reduced their exposure on negative cues from the spot market.
On the Multi Commodity Exchange, zinc contracts for the January delivery traded lower by Rs 1.65, or 0.57 per cent, to Rs 288.20 per kg in 2,063 lots.
Analysts said offloading of positions by participants, owing to slackened demand from consuming industries in the physical market, mainly weighed on zinc prices here. PTI RUJ BAL BAL
