New Delhi, Jan 7 (PTI) Zinc prices on Friday rose Rs 2.15 to Rs 291.60 per kg in the futures trade, tracking a firm trend in physical markets.
On the Multi Commodity Exchange, zinc contracts for January traded higher by Rs 2.15, or 0.74 per cent, to Rs 291.60 per kg with a business turnover of 1,859 lots.
Marketmen said widening of positions by participants following a pick-up in demand from consuming industries supported zinc futures prices. PTI RUJ BAL BAL
