New Delhi, Jan 10 (PTI) Zinc prices on Monday rose Rs 1.10 to Rs 288.90 per kg in the futures trade, tracking a firm trend in physical markets.
On the Multi Commodity Exchange, zinc contracts for January traded higher by Rs 1.10, or 0.38 per cent, to Rs 288.90 per kg with a business turnover of 1,586 lots.
Marketmen said widening of positions by participants following a pick-up in demand from consuming industries supported zinc futures prices. PTI RUJ HRS hrs
