New Delhi, Jan 12 (PTI) Zinc prices on Wednesday rose Rs 2.05 to Rs 291.50 per kg in the futures trade, tracking a firm trend in physical markets.
On the Multi Commodity Exchange, zinc contracts for January traded higher by Rs 2.05, or 0.71 per cent, to Rs 291.50 per kg with a business turnover of 1,581 lots.
Marketmen said widening of positions by participants following a pick-up in demand from consuming industries supported zinc futures prices. PTI RUJ HRS hrs
