New Delhi, Jan 18 (PTI) Zinc prices on Tuesday rose Rs 2 to Rs 290 per kg in the futures trade, tracking a firm trend in physical markets.
On the Multi Commodity Exchange, zinc contracts for January traded higher by Rs 2, or 0.69 per cent, to Rs 290 per kg with a business turnover of 1,634 lots.
Marketmen said widening of positions by participants following a pick-up in demand from consuming industries supported zinc futures prices. PTI RUJ HRS hrs
