New Delhi, Dec 22 (PTI) Zinc prices on Wednesday rose by Rs 2 to Rs 288 per kg in futures trade, tracking a firm trend in physical markets.
On the Multi Commodity Exchange, zinc contracts for December traded higher by Rs 2, or 0.7 per cent, to Rs 288 per kg with a business turnover of 1,437 lots.
Marketmen said widening of positions by participants following a pick-up in demand from consuming industries supported zinc futures prices. PTI SHW RUJ RUJ
