New Delhi, Dec 27 (PTI) Zinc prices on Monday rose by 40 paise to Rs 289.65 per kg in futures trade, tracking a firm trend in physical markets.
On the Multi Commodity Exchange, zinc contracts for January traded higher by 40 paise, or 0.14 per cent, to Rs 289.65 per kg with a business turnover of 2036 lots.
Marketmen said widening of positions by participants following a pick-up in demand from consuming industries supported zinc futures prices. PTI RUJ ANU ANU
