The S&P BSE IPO Index, which is designed to measure the performance of companies listed at BSE after their initial public offering (IPO), has given a negative return of -30.55 in 2022. The index that constitutes 59 new IPO companies has given the worst performance in the BSE Indexes so far in this year YTD.
Looking into the BSE IPO Index constituents the worst performing stocks in the index that are down over -55% from their 52-week highs are One 97 Communications : Paytm (-68.30%), CarTrade (-64.45%), AGS Transact (-62.06%), PB Fintech : Policybazzar (-60.07%), Zomato (-60.04%) and Fino Payments Bank (-60.05%).
Other BSE IPO constituent stocks that gave positive returns to the shareholders in 2022 YTD are Adani Wilmar Ltd (+108.91%), Veranda Learning Solutions Ltd (71.85%), Rolex Rings Ltd (+25.14%), Metro Brands Ltd (+23.90%), and SJS Enterprises Ltd (+17.48%).
