In conclusion, both cards share the same earning engine but mayura is ideally preferred if you travel internationally 3+ times a year, benefit from zero forex markup, 4 international lounge visits per quarter, redeem points for flights and hotels, spend 5L+ internationally every year and need interest free ATM cash withdrawals. Ashva is preferred if you mostly travel domestically, want a metal card experience at just INR 2999 per year, 2 international lounge visits per quarter is enough, use cashback or gift vouchers, spend under INR 3 lakhs internationally and rarely withdraw cash from ATMs. Hence, for domestic spenders, ashva delivers the best reward value and Mayura delivers mostly for those who travel abroad frequently.
