How to get unlimited movie tickets?

Kotak PVR INOX Debit Card rewards the cardholder with unlimited complimentary movie tickets. This reward is initiated by the bank based on the criteria met of the number of points earned and redeemed.

The PVR INOX Debit Card has reward points that are earned through every day eligible spends (You can earn 10 Rewards point per Rs 100 spent at PVR and 0.5 Rewards point on other spends) 1 Rewards point = 1 Rupee

These points are converted into INOX vouchers that can be redeemed at the food and beverage stalls or get rewarded with complimentary movie tickets. The debit card has no such limit of points that can be earned in a year. The cardholder is rewarded with vouchers based on how much they spend.

Example

Let’s presume the following: The monthly expenditure done on the PVR INOX Debit Card is Rs 20,000. The debit card rewards the user with 10 points on every Rs 100 spent and 0.5 points on other purchases.

Now assume he the cardholder spent Rs 2,000 at PVR and Rs 18,000 on other purchases. The cardholder will be able to redeem 200 points on movies and 90 points on other purchases each month.

Now, let’s calculate the yearly points redeemed:

  • 200 *12 = 2,400
  • 90 * 12 = 1,080
  • This total sums up to 3,480.

Let’s assume the average cost of the movie ticket would be Rs 200;

  • 3,480/200 = 17.4

A cardholder could get up to potentially 17 movie tickets in a year (If you spend more you can get more tickets. Basically a infinite tickets but it depends on your spend)

The number of free unlimited tickets depends on the monthly expenses

A voucher code gets generated automatically as soon as you earn 100 points (i.e. Rs 100). You can redeem your PVR Vouchers at PVR Box office/ website/ Mobile App for Food & Beverages or movie tickets.
