New Delhi, Dec 30 (PTI) Zinc prices on Thursday rose by 30 paise to Rs 286.45 per kg in futures trade, tracking a firm trend in physical markets.
On the Multi Commodity Exchange, zinc contracts for January traded higher by 30 paise, or 0.1 per cent, to Rs 286.45 per kg with a business turnover of 1,850 lots.
Marketmen said widening of positions by participants following a pick-up in demand from consuming industries supported zinc futures prices. PTI RUJ BAL BAL
