New Delhi, Dec 30 (PTI) Aluminium prices on Thursday rose by 0.04 per cent to Rs 225.90 per kg in futures trade as speculators built up fresh positions amid a positive trend in the spot market.
On the Multi Commodity Exchange, aluminium contracts for January delivery gained 10 paise, or 0.1 per cent, to Rs 225.90 per kg in a business turnover of 2,481 lots.
Analysts said the creation of positions by traders on renewed demand from consumer industries supported aluminium prices in the futures market. PTI RUJ BAL BAL
