New Delhi, Jan 11 (PTI) Copper prices on Tuesday rose 0.18 per cent to Rs 735.10 per kg in the futures market on the back of a pick-up in the spot demand.
On the Multi Commodity Exchange, copper contracts for delivery in January traded higher by Rs 1.35, or 0.18 per cent, to Rs 735.10 per kg in a business turnover of 4,294 lots.
Analysts attributed the rise in copper prices to the raising of bets by participants driven by a surge in spot demand. PTI RUJ HRS hrs
