New Delhi, Jan 18 (PTI) Nickel prices on Tuesday rose 0.45 per cent to Rs 1,640 per kg in the futures trade as speculators built up fresh positions amid rising demand from alloy makers in the spot market.
On the Multi Commodity Exchange, nickel contracts for the February delivery gained Rs 7.30, or 0.45 per cent, to Rs 1,640 per kg in a business turnover of 1,512 lots.
