New Delhi, Jan 19 (PTI) Nickel prices increased by 0.45 per cent to Rs 1,662.5 per kg in futures trade on Wednesday as speculators built up fresh positions amid rising demand from alloy makers in the spot market.
On the Multi Commodity Exchange, nickel contracts for the January delivery gained Rs 7.4 or 0.45 per cent, to Rs 1,662.5 per kg in a business turnover of 3,146 lots.
