New Delhi, Jan 25 (PTI) Guar gum prices on Tuesday gained Rs 173 to Rs 11,729 per five quintals in the futures trade as speculators increased their holdings on spot demand.
On the National Commodity and Derivatives Exchange, guar gum contracts for the February delivery traded higher by 1.50 per cent, or Rs 173, to Rs 11,729 per five quintals with an open interest of 46,270 lots.
Analysts said that after tracking firm physical market trend, traders raised their bets that led to the rise in guar gum prices. PTI RUJ HRS hrs
