New Delhi, Feb 28 (PTI) Crude oil prices rose Rs 390 to Rs 7,229 per barrel on Monday, as participants widened their positions on a firm spot demand. On the Multi Commodity Exchange, crude oil for the March delivery traded higher by Rs 390, or 5.7 per cent, at Rs 7,229 per barrel in 6,932 lots. Analysts said raising of bets by participants kept crude oil prices higher in the futures trade. Globally, West Texas Intermediate crude oil was up 4.99 per cent to USD 96.16 per barrel, while Brent crude traded 3.76 per cent higher at USD 101.61 per barrel in New York. PTI SRS ANU ANU
