New Delhi, Apr 26 (PTI) Crude oil prices on Tuesday rose by Rs 109 to Rs 7,558 per barrel as participants widened their positions on a firm spot demand.
On the Multi Commodity Exchange, crude oil for May delivery traded higher by Rs 109 or 1.46 per cent at Rs 7,558 per barrel in 3,828 lots.
Analysts said raising of bets by participants kept crude oil prices higher in futures trade.
Globally, West Texas Intermediate crude oil was down by 0.18 per cent at USD 98.36 per barrel, while Brent crude traded 0.09 per cent higher at USD 102.41 per barrel in New York. PTI SHW AJ AJ
